I'm trying to play a mission called Armed reconnaissance in The Shore campaign. In the mission you have to report the route of enemy advancement using radio f10-others.

I can't get anything else than the possibility for fighter support using the radio and f10. Hence i cant finish the mission and can't advance to the next.

Anyone else had this? Bug?

I haven't played the mission myself so it may very well be a bug. One thing to note is that some item's won't become available in some missions until you pass a certain trigger.

I've seen a similar bug in the shore campaign. I was tasked with taking out some tanks but once I reached the fence, 2 units of tanks radioed that they where ready to move and an option was added to F10 that allowed me to order them to move out. The only problem was no units had these names, the point they where supposed to be moving to didn't exist and there was nothing in the unit briefing about it. Just for fun I told them to move out but selecting either option didn't have an effect and once I destroyed the target specified in briefing, it gave me a mission complete dialog.

This happened again on another shore campaign mission when I was told to escort some tanks to a specified position. I flew in destroyed the targets and told my tanks to move in just to discover that they didn't exist. I was forced to quit the mission and take an incomplete mission and in the debrief screen there was no indication that any of my ground forces where destroyed and so I don't think they where ever spawned when the mission started.

It sound like you have the same thing. If you quit and take the mission failed, a new mission should be generated for you.

Look in the tech support forums under campaigns, I've reported the Shore missions there, and they seem irreparable at this time.

The ones you're describing are in the Georgian Hammer campaign, CowEatYou.

This is a MUCH better campaign than the Shore for bugginess, and overall...

There could be good news in the new patch change log, maybe you haven't seen it.

Campaigns

Reported errors in campaigns have been fixed.

I take this to mean all reported problems.

There was one or two Georgian Hammer missions that in the last patch they seem to have "modified"....When I say modified, they seemed to have taken an "escort mission" and changed it to a "take out a bridge" or "take out the HQ" mission. Problem is they forgot to take out the radio calls for the tanks moving out and stuff.

I'm really hoping they did finally fix some of the included missions and fixed them well.

If they didn't fix them, maybe we can get the mission designer to tell us what they wanted in the mission, and I am sure someone here in he forums can fix them right :).

Ok, waiting for the patch then :)

The thing that makes it more annoying is that the mission is friggin long. 80 miles to the first checkpoint, so just to try some other solution takes ages, even with faster time.

I've flown through all checkpoints and also landed at home base, no difference.

I saw it, and am hopeful.

But you will also note, I am not holding my breath...

:D

Hah, yeah I know what you mean. That's why I said there 'could' be good news, didn't wanna put my foot in it. :pilotfly:
