Kroll Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Well for some reason starforce can't find my disk in my cd drive. Then it eventually freezes up my computor. Theres no way of getting out other than pressing the reset button. I don't have a lot of time and I'm at my witts end with this. I've quickly looked over starforce problems but don't see my prob. I have never had a problem with any other game and I not using a CD-W. Please help.....I'm about to pull the plug on this one and take her back to BB.

Somehow LOCKON gold was released on a poorly engineered disc as a result , everyone who buys it are getting starforce problems. VortexDr Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Heh 5 minutes isnt all that bad. I remember the digital download from Uru with the expansions it took about 2 hours to install that POS. Was okay since I was doing the installer testing so loads of tree time to screw around.

Starforce should really get their act together and FIX all the problems with it. I bought the download and i upgraded my system a short while ago. Due to much trouble and so on im out of activations (5 and NOT 15 like some says) because the save reg utility didn't work. Claimed my HW had changed each time. I emailed ED asking for more activations and the answer i got was that i have to wait 2 weeks for sales department to contact me. nice!!
