hassata Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 I was making an ILS approach, HUD in NAV mode, TACAN and ILS tuned and selected on the NMSP. At certain times, what looked like the head of an arrow would appear on the left side of the TVV circle, whilst the tail would appear on the right. Anyone know what that is? Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nate--IRL-- Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 That means the TVV is actually off the HUD in the direction of the arrow. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

hassata Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Just another random question: the rockers on the MFCDd that superimpose three sets of numbers (contrast, brightness?) what do they do, and is it functional in the sim? Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
toby23 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 they adjust screen brightness and contrast, not the same as gain. Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
hassata Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 Do they have any effect? I'm not seeing any, but I am exporting the MFDs and have commented out the MFDs in the VC. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
toby23 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I run one screen and yes, they have an effect. Ryzen 5800X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3060
