From urban dictionary:

"dayum ":

an explative, not unlike whoa. It is a more emphasized version of the word "damn" when it is used in the same way.

"DAYUM":

what u IMMEDIATELY say when u turn around an theres a fat bitch right behind u an u get scared

guy - (turns around) "DAYUM!"

girl - "what nigga?"

guy - "nothing...."

Re the transfer issues. YouTube transfer appears to be shaped i.e. it is throttled up or down depending on a situation. Videos buffer fast at first and slow down seconds later. Videos will buffer faster when they are not paused. Etc. This way YouTube saves tens of percent on infrastructure that would be required in case of a constant and full transfer rate. My advice is to deal with it. It most probably won't change and YT will never be suitable even for rough network benchmarking.

Right click on a YT video to get to the real benchmarking routine.
