Bought the game a few days ago and must say that this will probably ruin my social life, school and work...but what wouldnt you do to fly the A10 :P Now to my first question; i'm trying to refuel with the help of ground crew, but I cant get it to work. Been searching the forum and tried the tips I have found, but still no luck. What are the conditions that have to me met regarding airbase, friendly units, type of mission, etc etc for the refueling to work? Can I set up a quick mission in the mission editor and go refuel on any base? And what is the procedure to make it happen? I land the plane and make it stop with the engines on, then I switch the INTERCOM dial so that INT point up (I think it is the furthest you can make the dial go clockwise), then pull out the INT switch and the HM switch. What now? Should I bring up the comm menu with L.alt + Numpad+? If someone could tell me the conditions, requirements and procedure for refueling, I would be very happy! :) Cheers!

Hi there and welcome to the best flight sim =) important condition is to turn engines off for refuel. the intercom-dial does not work (yet?) - just use the communication button and choose ground crew. my procedure: 1) Land, taxi off runway to parking spot 2) ground crew: turn ground power on. "copy, ground power on" 3) shut down both engines 4) ground grew: refuel 100%. pewbeef Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Thank you for quick answers! When you say communication button, which one do you mean by that? I guess Im not supposed to be using UHF or VHF FM/AM when i call for ground crew?
latearrival Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 (edited) I always use the VHF AM radio (tuned to frequency of airfield/ATC) and Mic Switch Forward. EDIT - and adding to what Viper said, you can bring up the map with F10 and click on the airfield - you'll be told if it is a coalition base.
