Tozzifan Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Hi, I'm new to the sim and setting up a few training missions to get acquainted with ka50 willing to do a full start-up at night, when I launch the mission the cockpit is, of course, totally dark, and it's quite unconfortable to find the switches by touch :) did I miss some kind of external illumination source? thanks win10 - win7 // 1080 // creative Fatal1ty // WartHog Hotas // trackIr5 // 3d vision // Saitek Trim wheel // CH Throttle Quadrant // Saitek pedals // Oculus CV1
MTFDarkEagle Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Welcome! Step 1) turn on batteries Step 2) Look over your left shoulder for the cockpit flood light. Carry on with the rest of the start up :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
einar-st Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 If you have tooltips on you can search around for Battery 1 and 2 and then turn on cockpit panel lighting... hehe.

After this, all switches and buttons in the cockpit will be visibles. antonio.
Tozzifan Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 ops, I was thinking a little too realistic looking for airfield light source :D win10 - win7 // 1080 // creative Fatal1ty // WartHog Hotas // trackIr5 // 3d vision // Saitek Trim wheel // CH Throttle Quadrant // Saitek pedals // Oculus CV1
Jona33 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Ground power is your other option and then click the cockpit lights. On a FARP the light from the corners of each pad gets in so you can see a bit. Enough to get some power going anyway. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
MTFDarkEagle Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Jona: you still need to switch on the ground power to provide power to the aircraft :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
