Drooper Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Can someone attach the track file of the shore mission 1 so I can find out what I am doing wrong. Thx in advance..
Migo Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I know this mission is bugged so maybe that's your problem. I think ED removed the 3rd party campagins because of their bugs.

allmhuran Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Necro in case the mission has been updated... I just got it a couple of days ago after playing through the Jackal campaign (really good!). The first mission seems impossible. Killing the ground targets is ridiculously easy... they don't even fight back. But then a flight of fighters comes in from the north and just tears everything up. There's no way to fly against these in A10s. In 6 attempts the most I've gotten is one kill, and my whole flight goes down in seconds every time. even when I'm trying to play hide and seek at 200 feet in the hills. I flew below 2000 feet the whole mission just in case... the briefing says 5000. Meanwhile, two flights of F15s just sit around scratching themselves off the coast. They never come in and provide top cover.
Evil.Bonsai Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) I just attempted it, after not having done so for a couple years. Was going to send the Heli on a SW route (over city, I believe) and had taken out several apcs and at least 1 AAA. I was looking for pilot but wingman called bingo. I turned and contacted Tanker. Apparently, the tanker was going down in flames a moment later as my TACAN indicater started spinning. I was out of fuel and no tanker, so I ended the mission. It showed on debrief that an F15 hit the tanker while refueling and they both crashed. What I would suggest, is to go to mission editor and open up the campaign mission you wish to fly, then SAVE AS (can change name or leave; I'll add 'new' or something to indicate different from downloaded version). Now try flying it, after it's been saved with your installed version of DCS. If you're still having issues, you might try editing the mission and reviewing flights/triggers/etc, and see if anything that you think should be happening but isn't. As an example, the first thing I checked was the previously mentioned F15 flights not attacking. Since in my case, the Russian CAP never left their orbit, I couldn't say the F15s would not have engaged. Their waypoints seemed ok, and they were set to CAP (in my experience, the most aggressive setting for attacking enemy flights.) Edited March 31, 2013 by Evil.Bonsai
