Is it possible to spawn a Player at the ramp with engines running?

I would like to be able to jump in ready to taxi for a custom single player mission.

Starting on the runway spoils the fun and a cold start every time becomes boring quickly.

Wise words for the impatient are much appreciated.

Nevermind, entirely too difficult to find in search, I tried but it is in the GUI manual. Page 56. If your building missions read the whole thing, its pretty comprehensive.

Shouldn't this effect be achieved if you just open a SP mission in multiplayer? Just host it to yourself, over LAN and/or passworded. Not sure if you will get AI wingmen though...

In multiplayer you still can start dark and cold..... ? Dont know for sure but it doesnt make much sense unless its some kind of unintended glitch.

Like Speed said, an aircraft set as "client" and runway start will spawn with engines running on the apron in multiplayer

No! Leave it as "Player". Multiplayer treats all humanable units as clients.
