FC2 F15 can’t launch missile

So I finally upgraded to FC2 from LO 1.02… Mmmm much nicer graphics and I sure when I get into in to it it will be a much better game. But just spent two hours trying to figure how to launch a missile from the F15.

Can fly the Air-Ti-Air missile and gun practice flight. Shot down bomber with the cannon. Can get the missile systems to Lockon (Two Red cockpit lights on) but no way can I figure how to release any of the missiles. I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo force stick and middle button does not do it unlike the LO 1.02 and tried the key Space RAlt…

But nothing works..

Any ideas please?

System is XP SP3 and Q9550 + 4 GB 9600

hold Ralt + space for about 1 sec, in that order I think is the problem

(Assuming your default keyboard bindings have not been altered.)

Also check your controller mapping

Note the distinction between Weapons Fire and Weapons Release.

 

Weapons Release is the one you're after - need to keep it depressed until missile launch. Remap to a single keypress - makes life a lot easier.

Many thanks guys... Hold Key or Button for one sec. to release works just fine....

 

Must admit I don't like these f15 missions much only be able to find enemy in one of them..

 

Think I'll stick with LO 1.02
