MeatMonkey Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I just bought DCS:BS and have found a anoying problem. I dont know if im missing something or cant find the right keywords to put into search forums. I have remapped my joystick buttons to the way I want them but when in flight they are not responding the way I set them up. Same with my rotor dials. Im hesitant to just start tearing apart files that I dont know what Im doing. I have been out of the sim scene for quite a while (Falcon 4.0 and Gunship!) so Im trying to play catch up here. Also my stick is a X-36 USB if that is the problem. I doubt it cause the game responded to the directx command when i remapped the inputs.
joey45 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Are you mapping them in game or the SST? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45
MeatMonkey Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 ingame the sst dont support the x36
enigma6584 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 When you map them to the game. Did you save the profile under a new name?
digitaljjd Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Make sure the same functions are not double mapped in another column. i.e. rudder pedals, mouse, or Trackir,or just plain double mapped in the same column. Also, take note of what button it is mapping, sometimes there are buttons or rotaries that like to keep poppining up instead of what you think you are pressing.
