Nice job avlolga! Looks like your making good progress. I'm coming into Israel next Jun and can bring some parts over if you still need them. I'm just starting out myself and haven't gotten to the CNC level yet (doing things using wood and drill bits so far).

I finally found free time to bring the front console, forget to reduce MFD cuts (i will manage with this size too).

it is made of 1.5mm galvanized metal (tin).

it will be on top of birch wood .47 or .72 not decided yet.

i have not decided if i am going to yous one screen or 5-6?

but i am thinking using multiple screens more - maintenance will be easy that way.

there are many 8.4, 10" 12" LCD TFT laptop screen in good price, but i still don't know how to connect them to PC, they do not have a VGA or standard output connector.

Why not use a projector and backlight the whole area?

That way you will not have any problems with the size of the monitors.

There are cheap LED projectors that will do the job nicely as it does not need

that long throw.

Just place a sheet of acryllic, painted with "Screengoo" behind the metal bezel.

Only thing you need to think of is to keep any wires and stuff out of the areas that you want the screen to cover. Shadows from inside won't be that nice looking ;)

Just a thought.

About the price of an 24" monitor today.

These might be something to check out.

ViewSonic PJ759

InFocus IN2104EP

A bit higher price, but short throw and portable if you want to use it for something else.
