rattler Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 (edited) Hi: I am using the LOFC(FC2) F-18C and have the su-33 keyboard,etc., assigned to it. Problem is although I can put what ever weapon I want on it, the only thing that works is the A/A and the dumb bombs. I can have all the others but they will not lock on target as designated in the Editor. They will fire but just go nowhere. Does anyone have any suggestions. I even have the TV monitor but nothing will work with it other than to view. Any help appreciated.:cry: Rattler Edited October 14, 2011 by rattler
Jerec Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 You may use the SU-27 or Mig-29 pit with the SU-33 keyboards folder (to use the arrestor hook on carrier landings). It works for me.

Yes, I have all of that working on the su-33 keyboards folder. I am using the F-18C as is in FC2, no changes to .lom etc. just F-18C flyable with su-33 pit. I wanted carrier so the F-18C could by used by anyone. I just can't lock the targets in A/G mode. A/A is just fine. It will fire all weapons but will not lock in A/G mode, except for dumb bombs and rockets. I have the TV monitor and everything, just can't lock the agm's, mav, gbu's. I have had it working when changing the model,let's say su-27 to Rafale and it all worked but gbu's and TV screen. All targets are designated in the editor but will not lock. I don't know if I have to change another file seeing as I am using the original FC2 F-18C or not. Pete Pete

I use Su-33 pit only for Growler mod(new VNAO mod) with Harm and Harpoon. But in editor predesignated point for TGT and its work. In Su-33 work not TV guidance........ Support my work

Thanks Sniper, I was afraid of that. I also had the harms and harpoon working on the su-33 but it was a new .lom file for the su-33. To bad, even the dumb bombs drop in a group, so you have limited A/G features. Either you get harms and harpoons or you get group dumb bomb drop and rockets. Too bad we can't do better.
