SU25T Fire and Forget

This might be user error but for the life of me, I can't seem to find the fire and forget weapons for SU25T when I'm editing payload. For example, KAB-500Kr bomb and Kh-29T missiles are supposed to be fire and forget but I can't find them. Any ideas?

AFAIK the Kh-29T can only be mounted on the inner pylons. This should be 7 and 9.

Kab-500kr is on the inner pylons also.

Try setting your task to something different.

Now that I have those weapons, I can't seem to get launch authorize for 500KR. Any ideas? No problem with 29T

Try flying higher. Even though the KAB500Kr is guided, its not so manouverable.

 

1. Lock target with shkval tv

 

2. Fly directly towards the target while climbing, the higher the better but at least over 1000m. Higher alt gives you a larger "launch window".

 

3. Drop bomb.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the targeting requirements are slightly different . . . . . the KAB500 has to be locked onto an object to drop, but I think the 29T will fire in ground-stabilised mode.

 

Look for the "AC" in the top right of the targeting display - you may have to adjust the size of the targeting box to get it to work.
