This is a bug in Black Shark 2 but unless I really have misunderstood how DCS works it should be true of A10 as well. I made a small mission with all the "landable" naval vessels moving 30 knots into a wind of about 2 m/s. My Ka50 drifted so quickly during startup on the Kuznetsov that I had to taxi to the middle of the deck before starting the 2nd engine. Somehow my wingman managed to stay in his position. Flying to the other boats I noticed the same thing. If I shutdown completely with the brake set I would drift off the boat within a minute or two. Planes do the same thing. I tried 2 F/A-18s from the Carl Vinson and two Su33s from the Kuz. All four would eventually drift. However, unlike my helicopter they would remain suspended in air even though, after 10-15 minutes, they were several hundered meters from the carrier. Static vehicles on the Kuz seem to remain fixed.

This is a known bug. Ensure in the ME you set player Ka50 to start from runway. You will still draft, but this can be corrected with use of the collective. Same applies for landing, in that you should not shut down.

I have tested in extreme conditions of 15 m/s, and you do have to be quick with your controls to stop the drift. Landing on a Frigate with say wind 10 degrees off the bow makes an interesting challenge!

We could expect a correction of this bug in the near future?

The naval Take off and landing feature is so good that i don´t want to loose it.
