Thin Wingtip Vapor mod

I've always disliked the default wingtip vapor texture used in ED's jet titles, so when the texture was (finally) located, I went to work trying to make something to replace it. After a few tries I found something I liked. Originally this was made to accompany the VBA team mod, but since we're not using it and everyone can benefit from it... it should be public!

(Note that this will not make wingtip vapor align with the wingtips of custom models... so if you have that problem, you're still out of luck. For that situation, I'd recommend Blaze's "no vapor" mod.)

Should work just the same. (I don't think ED changed much with regard to wingtip vapor.)

Hmmm just for experiments sake i tried your mod in DCS A-10C - they don't show, infact they totally remove the vapor effect from the wingtips, strange.

Arrrrgh ok. I'm not certain if the files have changed, or the location that these need to be installed in has changed. If anyone wants to try to figure it out, I'd be happy to package/upload another version!

Downloaded this the other day and I really like it, I never liked the default wing tip vapor either. This looks much better and much more realistic, thanks aaron :)

Installed this mod while back and flew some offline quick dogfight mission then watched a track... I must say the new wingtip vapor trails are very nice and I think this mod is great.... simple mod but wort while ;)
