Hi all. Just upgraded to BS2 and much to my chagrin have found that there is no sound at all in the sim. My sound card is working fine and I have no other problems. Here are my specs:

I5 2500k Sandy Bridge

8 GB DDR3

1024 ATI 5850

SB X-Fi Titanium

Hotas Cougar

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

A DxDiag output file would be good to start off with. See here for instructions: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=44466

That install path is correct - this is a 64-bit application.

I'll look through the DxDiag and see if I spot anything or can find something that's been reported earlier. My instinctive suspicion is that BS2 might have been assigned to a sound device that is not the one you are actually using.

Don't know if it's still a problem with DCS but check and make sure your sample quality output for your sound card isn't above 48khz.

It's generally under the Advanced tab of Speaker properties if you click on your windows audio icon and click on playback devices.
