acid1216 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hi all. Just upgraded to BS2 and much to my chagrin have found that there is no sound at all in the sim. My sound card is working fine and I have no other problems. Here are my specs: I5 2500k Sandy Bridge 8 GB DDR3 1024 ATI 5850 SB X-Fi Titanium Hotas Cougar Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
EtherealN Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 A DxDiag output file would be good to start off with. acid1216 Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Here. I installed it in the Win7 \Program Files. Should I have installed it into the \Program Files (x86)?DxDiag.txtDxDiagx64.txt
EtherealN Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 That install path is correct - this is a 64-bit application. I'll look through the DxDiag and see if I spot anything or can find something that's been reported earlier. My instinctive suspicion is that BS2 might have been assigned to a sound device that is not the one you are actually using. ED Team c0ff Posted November 17, 2011 ED Team Posted November 17, 2011 Try this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1278533&postcount=16 Dmitry S. Baikov @ Eagle Dynamics LockOn FC2 Soundtrack Remastered out NOW everywhere - https://band.link/LockOnFC2.
Insanatrix Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Don't know if it's still a problem with DCS but check and make sure your sample quality output for your sound card isn't above 48khz. It's generally under the Advanced tab of Speaker properties if you click on your windows audio icon and click on playback devices.
ED Team c0ff Posted November 17, 2011 ED Team Posted November 17, 2011 It should not be a problem anymore. But is worth checking anyway. Dmitry S. Baikov @ Eagle Dynamics LockOn FC2 Soundtrack Remastered out NOW everywhere - https://band.link/LockOnFC2.
acid1216 Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I got it working. I reinstalled with the Dx June '10 option and now it runs great. Thanks!
