I just came across this article that says:

"The A-10C’s cockpit features two 4.90 x 4.90 in. Multi-Function Color Displays (MFCD). The viewing cone is + 30º horizontal and +30º/ -0º vertical, with design viewing distance of 32 inches. Resolution is a minimum of 110 color pixel groups per inch both horizontally and vertically (e.g., 539 x 539 pixels, the pixels being square)."

Might be some useful information ... (or old news ?)

Stefan

PS: Just for clarity - I think the frame is 5x5 inches. However the actual displayed piture is 4.9x4.9 inches.
