Hey folks.

This is a bug.

Most of us release the GBU12 in CCRP mode and then lase the target.

If you set the GBU12 to CCRP mode in the profile page, do all the settings, save the profile and then select it with the buttons in the DSMS you will get a CCIP line on the hud. The only way to have it on CCRP is by using the select switch on the UFC with the HUD as SOI.

Track attached.

God.

Damn it.

Another responst à la "go to the manual".

Dammit, sorry guy. :-/ Thank god threads dont take up much space on the server, hehe.

Can any of you explain to me why the A-10 would do that? I thought that after you take your time to configure your profile you should be able to use it in any way possible...

Thanks for the answers!

Choose your profile via DMS right/left with HUD as SOI. When you choose the weapon via DSMS you auto-create a new profile -> the "M" stands for manual configuration.

God. Damn it...
Don't blame yourself Magegoth. I thought it was a bug too.

Ok, it is how DSMS works. But it's not rational afterall. I change "CCIP" to "CCRP" and then "SAVE" blinks to me. It won't really save - it will pretend like saving, but if I switch another weapon profile it will abort it... :\

Hitting the SAVE button will in fact save the profile, but it will only use those settings if you actually load the profile. In addition to the HUD DSMS left/right method for cycling profiles, you can also activate your saved profiles from the DSMS profiles screen: use the up/down OSBs to select the profile you want to use, and then press ACT to activate it.

It's not clear from your post Devrim whether you're actually hitting the save button, but just in case and for anyone else reading the thread: the blinking SAVE text indicates you've made changes to the profile that have not yet been saved. If you navigate away from that profile your changes will be lost. If you hit the SAVE button it will stop blinking and the changes will actually be stored.

Might also be worth mentioning that after a profile is activated, you can override the master mode with the master mode button on the stick. So if you've set the profile for CCIP delivery you can activate the profile, and then hit the master mode to cycle to CCRP mode, and get the appropriate cues.

Thank you for explaining.

By the way, you're right, it's missing; I hit "Save" of course.
