They were just rubbish, sort of like getting stuck with a VW Beetle after expecting an Audi :) That said - It's very subjective, hence the advice to test-drive at first if at all possible. You get better sensors and many buttons for the price. The crappy quality plastics are still there :) X-52 Pro's centering mechanism is still poor but improved over the older X's. It's hard not to end up with a crappy controller and manufacturers and sellers make it more and more difficult to perform a test drive of a product. The reason is simple. When people get the sorry products in their hands it doesn't make them want the products more. On the contrary. That's why they sensibly choose the client vs pretty box scenarios.
