zyph3r Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Hi, Cant get the wheel break (left and right) to work with my Saitek pro rudder pedals. Is this the correct config. You just use the rudder, steer and break? No more inputs? MTFDarkEagle Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Have a look at the left and right brakes: it says the axis + a modifier (i.e. shift, alt, ctrl). Try reassigning without the modifier. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
zyph3r Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 Mmm but how do i reassign without the modifier, its is already there when i push the add button... MTFDarkEagle Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 First click the clear button, and make sure non of the modifiers are pressed accidentaly. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
zyph3r Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 That solved the problem, THANK you sir! You just use the pedals for: Rudder- left, right steering- left, right Break- left, right anything else? again thanks for the help, much appreciated!!! MTFDarkEagle Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 No problem :) Make sure you assign the following functions: Rudder, Brake Left and Brake Right. That's it :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
cichlidfan Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I won't swear to it, been a while since I did it, but I think I had to invert the brakes to get them to work correctly with my Saitek Pedals. zyph3r Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 Invert them you say, in the modifier maybe? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Laptop Alienware m17x Intel Core 2 extreme CPU Q3000 @2.53GHz 2.53 GHz 8 GB RAM 2 x NVIDIA 280M TM HOTAS COUGAR, 24'' Samsung screen, TIR5
S77th-konkussion Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 It should look something like this- keeping in mind that my axis name may not be the same as yours. - but note that there is no ctrl/alt/shift in the axis assignment- and note the invert axis [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Careful with the terms. "modifier" means what I just described in the world of DCS/ gaming in general. A combination of simultaneous keypresses/ other inputs which changes the command given. When you have a question about setup or configuration-use what it's called in the sim to avoid confusion. In this case "Options" menu & "axis tune" panel Happy destroying. :D [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
