104th_Crunch Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 I have only toyed around with the mission planner available is single player. Maybe the answer is to have it available in MP when a client first joins a server, or selects a new slot.
combatace Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Another thing I thought of, with B-52's. They hold a lot of fuel in their wings, in a bank, all that fuel is moving to one side. I'm talking something in the amount of 50k lbs. I have a friend that flies them, I'll ask him about bank angles next time I talk to him. Aren't the tanks chambered for the same reason? vanir Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 That much fuel wouldn't have to move very far to be rather dramatic in effect, as in I would guess it causes a tremendous control lag. Bit like the difference between tapping your finger on a knee and tapping a sledgehammer on it. Just imagination, I wouldn't know but it is what I thought of. They use fuel cells, soaked foam don't they? The fuel wouldn't exactly slide around very much anyway unless you sustained G's. But it would feel like a herd of blue whales is pressing against the side of the fuselage and slowly rolling it over too much, during banks. I assume the FltCS would increasingly compensate but still...control input lag recovering. just guessing, dunno. This stuff is just interesting.
Cali Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Aren't the tanks chambered for the same reason? Yes they are divided into 3 different tanks along each wing with baffles in between them, but you still get fuel moving around. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
clarkey Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 @Sov13t where did you find that info on the disbalance limit? Would like to know the limits for some other FC2 planes just out of curiosity.

I have paid for a F-15 one and have seen a good NATO MiG-29 one. There are lots on the F-16 as well. There is a really good one for the Su-27 that Soviet has read through, but it's in in Cyrillic.
