Hi,

 

It's my first post here and would like to thank everyone who contributed to this magnificent game who is null other than `Lock-On`. As time came and went, it has been improved in many ways although a lot more as to be done to make it even better.(Frame Rate,etc) I would like to share a thought. Could it be possible to include these two most best fighters in the world in a possible add-on or patch. It will be a great experience to fly these... and to see the know how in Russian Technologies nowadays.

Those aircraft are supposed to come in the next product (The successor to Lock On) which will be quite some time from now.

I think it would be better the way it seems to be already planned (thanks for the hint GG!!)

 

Bear in mind that if Russian planes with updated electronics suites etc are added, then something has to be added to the NATO side to keep some sort of even playing field. So in actual fact, to add those planes and keep the balance in the sim, you'd actually need to add 3 or possibly 4 aircraft. That, IMHO is far too much work to expect ED to put into and add on.

Hell yes,I would pay 100$ for a Su-27 and Mig-29 model with clickable pits and AFM :D

I would like to have them down the line, but not now. What I would like is one more NATO jetfighter. I have 2 Su's and 2 MiG's to choose from right now. I don't care if is from Europe or the U.S.A, I would be :D to get one more NATO jet. -KILSEK

No not in that one i'm afraid! you talked about the su-30mki and other variants but as far i know with Pravda web site, moscow news ,etc this one seems to be made all in Russia except the Avionic that could be made by sextant avionic (A French company that have good relation with Russian Companies) but it remain to be seen! many russian avionic companies exist and are as good as Sextant. For one example we have the Transas Aviation compagny who produce magnificent and reliable displays. And in Phase Array Radars the Russian are among the top in the world, even the Active Array seems promising. Although not so eager to implemented it as their American counterpart, improvements are made until this technology is more mature and can be fitted with less power consumption, that's one problem the USA are facing right now. Anyway i'm not here to lower the USA in anyways... so let's just enjoy this great game and all those future add-ons and updates we can have.

I saw that "little" game posted over UBI forums long long ago lomac came.I think it's name is "Super Manuever".Being a really small sized game (5-6mb) it had something close to AFM for Su-30,but nothing more.Maybe a clickable pit too :)

It's made by the same company as ED, it was supposed to be some home-trainer for Indian MKI pilots, it has a clickable pit and TVC (and a AoA limiter which can be overrridden), also it has the same glitches as Flanker 2.5 FM wise, after doing some full AB cobras the FM will go berzerk, and the game will crash.
