112th_Rossi Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 This isn't a mission building question... I've been playing a lot of single player and in certain situations theres a scripted even which shows a message in the top right part of the screen, ususally with co-ordinates of the next target or whatnot. Problem is, this message doesn't stay on screen very long so I don't have time to input the information into the CDU, is there a way to bring the message back up?
STP Dragon Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 No way to bring it back up but you can change the time the message appears if you open the mission in the editor, open the trigger menu and find the message in the action column. Set it to 60 or 120 sec and you sould have enough time to add the information to your CDU. ralfidude Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I keep a pen and paper handy when flying. I actually removed my mouse pad, and replaced it with printing paper, scotch taped to the desk. I write all my coords there as soon as they pop up, then enter them in the CDU with ease without having to worry. Scratch it off when done to make sure you arent over writing things. It looks exactly like this: [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]
112th_Rossi Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 It would be awesome if information sent by in game messages were added to some kind of pilots kneepad automatically.
