Well this looks interesting and might be fun to use in flight simulators:

Article says that it can also track your hands, so maybe you can use this method to click buttons in a 6 DOF cockpit envirimoent... who knows.

What worries me is all that processor power so close to your head might give you a headache...

But, I think I prefer to buy this, rather than give my all money for LED TVs.

Not that much: 1280x1024...

 

I guess it depends on the size of the screen itself as well. The more important question is the pixel density and how close to your eyes it is.
