Mustang Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) http://mrhaandi.blogspot.com/p/injectsmaa.html http://www.iryoku.com/smaa/ this is pretty amazing, basically it's performance penalty-free anti-aliasing :D I've tried this out in FC2 and it runs super smoothly and looks gorgeous, and in many other games (Crysis, Borderlands, Mafia 2, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 1 and 2, GTA4 EFLC etc) but the problem is i cannot get it to work in DCS A-10C or BS2 x64 bit (x86 limitation of the plugin) if anyone can figure out how to get this running in either of these sims i'd be dead pleased :) Edited January 13, 2012 by Mustang
hassata Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 PeterP's our best bet. P.S. You are a tease :D. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mustang Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Is DCS 64bit only? If you're on a 64 bit OS DCS automatically installs a 64bit version, but back in pre-1.1.0.8 days you had a choice of 32 or 64 bit installation.
Cali Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Gonna try it out and see if it makes a difference in BMS. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
Mustang Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Gonna try it out and see if it makes a difference in BMS. If it's DirectX 9 it'll probably work quite well :)
Megagoth1702 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 God damn. I want this for the A-10! This dude needs a x64 version! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System specs:2500k @ 4.6 GHz 8GB RAM HD7950 OC'd Win7 x64 Posting tracks to make your DCS better - attention bump incoming!
Megagoth1702 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 For ATI users. RadeonPRO, currently in beta with some bugs, has recently put in 64bit support and also FXAA & SMAA, you can disable/enable that stuff on a per-game basis. :) http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=322031 Look for "preview version" in the first post, that is the most recent beta. Read the changelog. The version is pretty stable, I didnt have any crashes. If you want SMAA in DCS and you use ATI that's your best bet.
