Hi Guys,

 

I use Maya a lot and was wondering can this be used to create models for the sim or are the plugins strictly for max?

you can still do your modelling in maya and then use fbx to get it over to max.

 

Maya&max 2013 actually have an exchange format or export now.

But for the moment you would have to use the "save as 2011" function from there so might be a long way :)

Also the plugins are version specific... I think.
