***Do it at your own risk***

I did it and there was no problem! Very easy to do

I didnt noticed any major gain for now with BS2, but it might help others

In short, here is the better method from sky60234:-

- Go to Regedit

- Find this key:- " 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583 "

- Within this key, there is a value called: " ValueMax "

- This value represents the % number of cores the system will park - the default 100% ie: all Cores are potentially park-able

- Change the value from 64 to 0 so the " ValueMin " and " ValueMax " are both zero

- You will have to find the key a few times and repeat the process for each time it is found - the number of instances will depend on the number of power profiles in your system [ in my DAW it was only found twice ]

- Do a full shutdown and power-off and cold-re-start

I have HT turned off in BIOS also as I see no benefor from it being ON. Although in aplications that are multithreaded there will be increase in performance with HT on, in DCS there is absolutely no deferrence running it with HT on or off... so reason I have it off is because when overclocking system is more stable with HT off.

PC specs:

Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR

maybe it's only for the older I7, cause my 2600k is overclocked with HT ON and I have no stutters at all and stays pretty cool.
