Slazi Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Playing BS 2, I'm getting the same problem I used to get in BS 1. I try a mission, fail the first time. I kinda suck. So, watch the replay, and take over when I do the stupid thing that causes me to fail. Sometimes it lets me continue to the next mission, sometimes it doesn't. Am I missing something? It would be nice to have a clear screen at the end of the mission saying - Mission complete - Accept result and return to main menu. or Mission Failed... Am I the only one? - I posted this in the multiplayer forum at first by mistake, so asked for a move. 3 or so days later, no move. So, reposted. Hope that doesn't qualify as spamming!
BeachAV8R Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Yes - the mission results (to me) can be ambiguous. I sometimes don't know if I'm met the minimum requirements until I go to advance to the next mission in the campaign. If it goes to the next one, I figure I must have done it..if not..I refly it. I also made the suggestion that missions continued from a track be able to count toward completion of a campaign mission (they don't right now as far as I can tell).
jctrnacty Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 I Absolutely agree, after beeing shot down i am mising replay mission button. there is replay button but its not working . definitely a thing to improve in campaign. Dusan56 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Let me add to discussion. After finishing (or not) the mission, I'd like, as a sort of feedback, watch the track. Mostly to get the idea what the fu.. shoot me down or where I did mistake during landing procedure... What I feel as real pain in the ass is the fact that when you try to compress the time watching track, the game doesn't synchronize well. I see myself shooting missiles to empty areas, while tanks are couple of meters away. I think I've red some posting, where guys from ED stated that's this is inevitable behavior considering how much data must game process, if you compressing time. So, ED guys, would it be possible, to give as option to watch only couple of last minutes of the tracks? It would safe a lot of time. Other than that, ED has my huge respect for educating us and giving us so much fan. Edited January 29, 2012 by Dusan56
