Flogger23m Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Does anyone have a profile for the X52Pro? I would prefer an in game/options menu profile that I can import rather than Saiteks software profile (which never works). This is for BS1. Alternatively if anyone can tell me how to set the collective in game I would appreciate it. Lock On FC2 and BS1 don't seem to be able to set axis in game (though WIngs of Prey and CloD can).
rockstar13 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Try here for some help. http://www.saitek.com/uk/supp/blackshark.html Hope this is of some help. David
Flogger23m Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) That does not seem to work. Setting an axis never does anything in FC2/BS1 for me. Where can I found the mouse control and cockpit panning view? And what is the difference between KA-50 real and KA-50 game? Both sub menus have similar menus within them and often times the same commands. For example, I want the center silver button on the stick to pan my view inside of my cockpit (and outside), and I would like the knob/button on my throttle with the mouse picture to control my mouse input (to click on things in the cockpit). This way I can eliminate the need to use a keyboard for looking around. It was like this by default but looking through the options must have switched everything up. All I can say is that ED needs to make their control selection menu more like RoF. Edit: If I can not get basic functions like panning on the joystick done in this game then I'll return it. It is simply nonsense that ED can not get such simple functions working. I'd rather pour money into RoF as at least they can get their control input menu to function like it should. Spending hours just to get basic functions means there is a huge flaw with the program. Edited February 1, 2012 by Flogger23m
Slazi Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Using a joystick as a mouse is a basic fuction? I don't know of any games where I can do that. If you wait a bit, I'm sure someone will be able to help you with most of your comments. The game is worth it, so don't give up.
rockstar13 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Are you flying in game mode or simulation mode? David
Ramstein Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) I use this profile, I don't have a digram for it, note: in game controls are only set for the Rudder pedals, and for the X52 Pro: collective, pitch, roll... the rest are controlled by Saitek X52 Pro SST software. I have used it since I first got BS a couple years ago.. and use it for both BS1 and 2. In A-10C I did star tusing in Game controls, same with IL-2 COD.
