Bee_Sting Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 fraps counter in the game awhile you are playing the game.
EtherealN Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 What is a FRAPS counter? FRAPS is a computer program used towards benchmarking computer games and recording AV-streams and screenshots from them. The only relevant counter it offers is an FPS counter, which is activated through making the relevant configuration within fraps (it has a selection box to "display FPS counter"). EDIT: http://fraps.com/ That is FRAPS. You can check it through the game itself through Cntrl-Pause, but this does not offer statistical analysis. Bee_Sting Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 i downloaded fraps and thanks for all your help! one last thing how do i get fraps to work so i can see the rctrl pause to work?FPS counter
Bee_Sting Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 i live in sweden but from sweden! english will be fine so repeat
EtherealN Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Oh, sorry, you can probably disregard the above then. I posted it just in case there was language-based confusion, sorry for making assumptions based on your location. :) Bascially, as long as you are not expecting to use the FRAPS program itself towards statistical analysis of performance data, what has already been said stands. FRAPS is separate and has nothing to do with getting what Viper showed. And I mean that literally - nothing at all. You don't need to ever have heard of it to get what FPS data from ED products. Rcntrl-Pause is enough. Twice to get the full subsystem data as shown on his screenshot.
