Striker121 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I was looking around the forums after decided to build myself at least a few control panels but had some trouble finding any CAD models. It seems like there are a bunch of pictures spread around of the various models people have made, but no actual repository of models, so I thought it would be be a good idea to pool a few here. I'm largely looking to put the models through a CNC machine so that I can cut out the panels, thankfully my school is practically begging for students to use the CNC so it won't cost me a thing beyond materials. Personally I'm looking mainly for a UFC panel model but the more the merrier. If I get a decent number of replies I'll throw together a list in this post.
avlolga Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Hi Striker121, you have joined Dec - 3 month ago .... it will take you some time but you will find it. you r not going through all the popular and important threads !!! :matrix: you r missing good stuff do not look for ready G-code files or Cad drawings, look for pdf file - you can recreated them as you like or convert them to any drawing software you like working with. most of the files on this forum are ready to work with, not all the files are attached to thread - you may find some links to other sites with great files too. if you like creating those file as Cad Models - no one will stop you it will be thankful :thumbup: Avi

I'm not particularly skilled with CAD and I know a number of people have already created great models that would work fine (or atleast only require a little modification) to get working.
