badger66 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Is there any particular reason why there is no fuel dump option in the A-10C . There was one in A-10A . Just askin , cuz sometimes I get an engine failure on take off , and need to jettison all weapons and go around , but cant dump fuel ?
HiJack Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 You fly inverted for a minute or so and the dumping starts automaticly. :P
mvsgas Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 No fuel dumping on A-10A nor C. The reason is because the aircraft is physically capable to land at max fuel weight, if the runway is long enough. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
