Does anyone know what would be the best gaming laptop to max out or get the best performance out of DCS? Im looking for under 1500... Really Im looking around 1000 but 1500 might be pushing it. It will probally usually be connected to my 1440X900p moniter when playing if thats considered a factor.

I haven't looked at the latest offerings but I can tell you that for $1000 you will not be maxing out DCS A-10 or BS2. At $1500 it may be possible if you get a good buy.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

IMHO there is no such a thing as "gaming laptop". Some come close to it (i.e. Dell Alienware) but their price-tags begin somewhere at $2000...

Recently I needed to switch to the portable computer, and now I have Dell XPS L702X, with good high-quality 2D full HD screen.

Specs are: i7-2670QM CPU, 8 Gb of RAM (upgradable up to 16), and GeForce 555GT with 3 Gb VRAM.

Maybe it's not the toppest "gaming RIG" but DCS works pretty solid on this system, not to mention Battlefield 3 also.
