Steam version and FreeTrack

I usually buy my games on Steam when it is available and I'm considering buying A-10C Warthog. My question is, has anybody gotten Freetrack to work with the steam version of this game?

It should work, you just need to add the api files, though you can always download and install retail version from ED/TFC website and use steam cd-key. This is recommended AFAIK.

Yes, recommended. Install steam version first, remove and install the ED A10c download. Program will be already activated in the registry.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to get a refund for Blackshark to my stem wallet so I'm going to try out A-10. Do you guys know if steam downloads the 64bit version?

 

Edit: what I meant to ask is if you buy on steam does that activation work for the 64bit version?

I believe that there is no separate activation for 32bit/64bit installations. There is only one unified activation, therefore it shouldn't be the problem, but wait for confirmation as I'm not 100% sure.

DCS A-10c is a native 64bit application and the 64bit executable will be installed if a 64bit OS is detected.

 

And on a 32bit OS the 32bit executable will be installed.
