Hi all,

I have downloaded the plans and am now stuck.

How do I print them to be life size so I can lay the templates out on plyboard and trace them?

You will need a "plotter" ... its kind of a large printer, often found in copyshops or also online.

For a normal printer, ist too large ... or you have to look for a software tool to print it out on normal sized paper and glue ot.

I ordered my plans online, was around 16 EURO incl. shipping and arrived after 2 days.

Cheers

Tom

G Monkey - you can bring the file to a place like Fedex-Kinkos and they can print them for you.

You should be able to, when I was in Phoenix they had USB readers and computers.

Even some sign shops have large format printers. Might be an option for you as well.

If you have a"digital vector" drawing you could even let it be cnc'd!

Might cost you some more, but quicker and very acurate!

ABC cockpit an excellent general purpose combat cockpit.

I would strongly suggest you seriously consider using CNC machine to do the cutting work. This mi my slightly modified ABC cockpit...

G Monkey where in Texas are you? I'm in SW Louisiana and have a CNC router and might could do it for you.

How much would that cost, I'm in Bossier city/Barksdale AFB.

thanks for the offers to help and ideas guys!

I've decided to go with a 2x4 based frame and use the plyboard to go over that.

I'll post some pics after I get started.
