BrianFoster Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I ordered a boxed copy of lock on. it arrived a week later (im in the usa) there is no serial number or activation code anywhere on the box, even had a friend look at it. How am i supposed to activate and play the game with no serial. Sent a ticket to customer support and its been 24 hours since i sent it.:mad:

DYNAMBOY11 Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Hi there Ethereal, I am having the same problem I got my copy through Amazon, and have the same thing no serial numberi got this about eight months ago and have just now been able to get online but i have nothing at all to proove that i got this legitimnately, so am i going to have to throw this CD into the trash and buy another game ?or can i send you guys a copy of my installed game for you to activate it there? thanks for any help.

IMHO I think this is really paranoid of ED to force people that have legitimately bought this game to get PERMISSION from them to play it. There will always be somebody that will be able to hack these games and copy them but im sure thats a very low percent, but at least 90 to 95 percent of us will buy this game legally and try to enjoy playing it, we don't need companies putting in SECRET CODES and other garbage just because a few people are able to hack these games, If they are so paranoid that some people will hack or copy these games then they should not have made the game in the first place.
