truebrit Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I have assigned the trim buttons to a hat switch on my X52 and i can see the trim on the cockpit stick move when i press them so i know they're assigned properly but they seem to have no effect on the plane? What am i missing?:joystick: Planes: A-10C/II - FC3 - F/A-18C - F-16c - F-5 - F-15E - F-4E Helicopters: UH-1H Huey - KA-50 Black Shark - AH-64D Maps: Sinai - Normandy 2.0 - Channel - Syria - Persian Gulf - South Atlantic Extras: Supercarrier - WWII Asset Pack PC SPECS: CPU, Intel i5 12600k | MOBO, MSI, MAG 760 TOMAHAWK | MEMORY, Corsair 64GB DDR4 | GRAPHICS CARD, RTX 4070 SUPER | PSU, 850W | Flight Stick, Logitech X-56 | Rudder Pedals, Logitech G | O/S, Windows 10, 64bit | Storage Drives, 2GB M.2 | MONITOR, ASUS TUF Gaming 2560X1440 180Hz

truebrit Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 No, just the in game hat switch moves. If you "hold" the trim button, do you see the in-game stick move in any direction? MTFDarkEagle Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Are you trying that in a cold-and-dark cockpit, or actually in the air? Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Depth Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 No, just the in game hat switch moves. That's strange, can you post a track? If you haven't already done so you should disable force feedback in the options menu. If you've mapped Trim: Reset to anything you should unbound that in case that's what giving a conflict. cichlidfan Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 No, just the in game hat switch moves. If you are airborne the whole plane should pitch or roll when you hold the trim switch in any one direction! Check your control assignments again. WildBillKelsoe Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 No, just the in game hat switch moves. It is mapped to HOTAS Slew. Unmap all 4 (or 8 acc. to your stick) from HOTAS slew up/dn/rt/lt, and map each to Trim Right wing down, left wing down, nose up, nose down. Also, if you're experiencing a tilt to one side, like in here use the rudder trim opposite actual trim to center the ADI. I just discovered it based on FC2.0 Su-25. Didn't know it was there. Very important. Rudder trim, right = RCtrl + X, left = RCtrl + Z. Happy flying! AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. kristenburnout Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Turn off Force Feedback! That helped for me when I had the same problem.
