Laud Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Hm... had a look at the given monitor.lua-files and found no real difference between them and the old ones. Does someone has a hint what to look at? PeterP Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) Wheres PeterP When u need him. The Upgrade version for BS is compatible now... what are the results. I'm not going to mess with world until all the bugs are worked out. Sorry, I can only quote myself on this matter. In short : I give up! >>> HDR Sun Glare Missalignment Kuky, I don't want to sound cheeky ... (but I have the feeling I will ) Where did you read that DCS is supporting Multi-monitors of different sizes. ?! The only thing you find in the manual is this: Gui Manual A-10C Page 16: And when we put this apart we only have the info that DCS spreads the render equally on all monitors. And that's exactly what we are having. So there is nothing wrong with DCS. - it's simply our expectation that are too high ! And the only M-monitor support I can see is driven by the Community and not by ED. Just look at all the threads where people asking for help - and what "we" do to get things working. -Point- Again very sarcastic: Maybe the terms of admission for a Beta-tester is to only Use one screen and none of this "exotic" Monitor-settings ... And postings like this seems to confirm this: >>> A Plea for View-Export/Multi-head/TH Users. - ED Forums Originally Posted by PeterP But it doesn't say anything if this will be fixed or in which time-frame. - it was just a simple "thank you". Laud Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Disregard! I only forgot to uncheck "Fullscreen" in the System-Options. Now everything is working like before with A-10C standalone. PeterP Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 What is the (broken) effect you see with HDR Kuky? I just saw some strange cockpit-reflections so far. the "strange cockpit-reflections" you see is a bug in 1.2.0 and only appears in the A-10 cockpit. It is acknowledged and will (hopefully) get fixed with a new patch. It has nothing to do with the sun-glare mismatch. >>> Strange windscreen shadows in 1.2.0 To recreate the sun-glare bug: use e.g. 1280x768 windowed and the"Camera+LMFCD(on right side)" monitor setting Pleas have a look at point 3. in this thread: A Plea for View-Export/Multi-head/TH Users. - ED Forums S if we combine the lua from A10 mfcd then add the skaval from the KA50 all in the dcs\config\monitorsetup\ **** .lua thats it just a cut and paste from the two aircraft it should work? Stu Yes - please have a look at the example in this posting #19 and check the attached lua for reference how it should look.
