ErichVon Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I have noticed at start-up on occasion and in flight the Shkval cockpit cathode ray tube displays what looks to me to be a test pattern like what USA network TV stations used to display when off air. Is there any significance to this? Anything that needs to be known, or is it just that, is it telling me it is ready? At start-up it sometimes appears after I set the throttles to Auto and rotor rpm to approx. 8500. In flight I do not know when it appears for sure but seems to be when I get close to the combat area.
TurboHog Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Just self testing AFAIK. Not very important. Happens periodically during flight... 'Frett'

Pikey Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I get that especially in harsh manoeuvres, its like you get a power shortage due to throttle change. It worries me! ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

If your RPM falls below a certain level you will cut off the power supply to your weapon and CMS systems. They are basicly restarting when the generators can do their job again. 'Frett'
Pikey Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 I knew it! It's my terrible flying!! ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
