shift, ctrl etc with usbkeys by opencockpits

hi all,

 

have a little problem with the usbkeys card from opencockpits. i am not able to send combined keys to a-10, eg shift-A. other progs take it, e.g. notepad, word, etc. but a-10 doesnt.

 

any advice?

I had the same problem with my pokeys, I had to program all the switches

my center console with unique keys, eg A B C etc. ...

 

I think DCS is awaiting a break in between keystrokes.

example: shift ... (pause) then A... (pause) then shift...

 

USBkeys sends a single key combination, and DCS does not recognize it, have you tried with only one key?

only one key is no problem. have my cdu connected a i am running out of single keys......

I have U-HID interface that allow 32 buttons + single keys + 32 macros (alt or shift or whatever + key ) Very easy to configure.

IT may be that the problem is the time between combined keystrokes.

 

I have had to modify my programmable keypad settings twice with recent A-10C patches so keys with modifiers would work correctly. All I changed was the time interval between the individual key strokes.
