Fepaje Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) Hi, I´ve a big problem with the multiplayer. I want to host a server for friends and me but they can´t connect to it. Even with the direct-ip-connection method. I tried everything so far: Shutting off the windows firewall, opening ports (10308+10309) in windows firewall and router, shutting off every antivirus software, starting the multiplayer.exe as an admin, starting the server in "LAN" mode...etc. Nothing worked. The clients don´t see the server in the server list and are still getting the "can´t connect" message if they try a direct connect over my actual ip oder my dyndns url adress. This is really frustrating so please help me. :sad_2: -Fepaje Edit: After some testing with other games, I was sure that the problem was the port forwarding of the router. So i restarted it and changed the internal IP of my Computer. Now it works just fine! :) Edited May 22, 2012 by Fepaje Problem solved
HiJack Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 There once was a test tool that 2 friends could run locally on each others computers to test connection. Should be somewhere in multiplayer on this forum. Search and look ;)
