I tried to set up a dedicated server using the "free" DCS World but could not connect to the server from my ordinary client (same local LAN). The DCS World licensed itself to the installed BS2 license which is fine with me. Does the new DCS World not accept server and client on the same network anymore?

When connecting using LAN mode on the server and connecting using the IP it works localy. The server does not show in browserlist on either Internet or LAN list.

In the server options page make sure you select "All Interfaces" where you see the local ip address

There is no souch option as "All interfaces" in the server options page. It is only possible to select the local adapter address.

Delete network.cfg in folder: Saved Games\DCS\Config

Hmmm, I changed the port number from 10309 to 10308 and then the server shows up in the LAN list of the client. Not sure if the server is awailable on Internet ;) Can someone try to connect to "HiJack's casa" if they see it in the list? Or at least post her wheter if it is visible in the list.
