Its a pitty its just sitting there :(

That is how I feel about museum relics concerning metal machine shop. In 1980 to the Smithsonian Museums in Washington, D.C , a 1920 era engine lathe on display was the same model I was using at work on-th-job still doing precision work with it.

 

I'd get more of a kick seeing the shop where they rebuild these aircraft.

That seat does not look comfortable. I guess the pilots did sit on their chutes. Imagine sitting in that seat for 12 or more hour sorties.
