Warning Nerd Alert :)

The DCS P51D cockpit is equipped with the SCR 522A control box. Historically this is a valid option.

Externally the DCS P51D also has an antenna mounted under the forward fuselage. This antenna was I believe typical of AN/ARC-3 VHF radio installations, again an historically correct option.

However the AN/ARC-3 cockpit control box was different to the SCR-522A box. The AN/ARC-3 had 8 push button channel/stud selectors.

Since only the SCR-522A control box is modelled should the lower antenna even be present ?

SCR-522A is shown as the centre option in the jpg below with the AN/ARC-3 as the lower option.

Good catch! I know a lot of the F-51 and TF-51s had the ARC-3
