cannot use Rcvr?

for hte life of me i cant get Recover to work or even show,any ideas to help?

There is an option Permit Recover that needs to be checked. I would check that first

i have it checked in options and in game.

it just closes the briefing window and i stay in my jet or on the ground pilot
