In the SP mission "Sitting Ducks" I hit pickle with CBU-97 selected, and the moment I hit pickle the game froze. I restarted the game, same mission hit pickle with 97 and freeze again.

Standalone 1.1.1.1 is fine

i test this. it can happen in user created mission too. i suspect the issue is with the cbu bombs.

i drop first one, no problem. then i come back to drop another, the game freeze on pressing pickle

i experience no freezing with first drop. but maybe smoke generation too much stress. ok you test now.

And another question:

Did anything change our CBUs?

It doesn't matter which CBU i select, in CCIP i get a message (Arr...forgot what exactly) like "fuse invalid"

Any idea?

Were you trying to drop them from below 1800ft? The default HOF is 1800, so climb above that and you shouldn't have any issues.

Why is the rum always gone!?!?!?!

Yep, i had the same problem and found the solution. You just need to load a TGP, and all works fine. At least it helps until this issue will be fixed in the next patch.
