Downloading KA50 Training (Bigfoot's)

How exactly do I go about downloading from inside World the KA50 training tracks from Bigfoot?, I am confused on were exactly (file) I should download those to? does not look like it is an all in one download, thanks.

It is not one download, each mission is separate and you can not dl from within KA-50. You download them the way you would any other file and put them in the missions folder under your BS2 saved games folder.

 

Then go into the sim, select missions then select 'My Missions' from the pulldown and there they will be.

That is not entirely true. I do have one mod file that contains all of the training missions in one download. It actually replaces the training link on the main menu to show my missions vs the training videos. There is a readme file inside the mod file that explains where to put the files contained in the mod.

 

These missions are not tracks by the way. They are full missions that you can launch like any other mission you download from the user files section.

 

As far as the file structure, I am not sure where to place them. I have heard the structure is slightly different in DCS:world than the standalone. Unfortunately, I can not test this because I only have the upgrade version of BS2 that does not work in world at this time. I am downloading World right now so I can at least look at the files, though I wont be able to fly.

 

I am curious to know if the missions work properly in world. Keep me informed. :thumbup:

I have not kept up and did not realize you had packaged them. As individual missions they can be placed in Saved Games and will work just like a mission that you created locally.

I'm in the same boat as Bigfoot - I own the upgrade version so I can't test.

 

But this is how the file structure looks for the P-51D training.

 

 

So if it is the same structure for the KA-50 , the complete Training package that can be found here: http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/173790/

Has to be copied into

...\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Ka-50\Missions\traning\en\

...to make them selectable via the ingame-Training tab.
