Auroraw Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) Today I have been practicing with the datalink, when i try to select a saved target I often can't zoom the ABRIS in far enough to distinguish the targets from each other. So is it possible to move the map so that i can zoom in on the target area instead of on my helicopter's position? EDIT: Omg i put the wrong title it should be: move ABRIS Edited May 22, 2012 by Auroraw WRONG title... i7 2600K - GTX 590 - Z68Extreme4 - 8gb Gskill 1600 - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek Combat Pedals - TrackIR5
Jona33 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Go into ERBL mod and then use the rotary on the right to control the cursor. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
seikdel Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Alternatively, go into map and then info mode, if you're not trying to calculate an ERBL.
Auroraw Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks guys i7 2600K - GTX 590 - Z68Extreme4 - 8gb Gskill 1600 - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek Combat Pedals - TrackIR5
ShuRugal Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 also, don't waste a DL point on each target unless they are spaced widely enough that you cannot see them in the same frame on the shkval. the points you can set in the DL controller are not precise enough to mark individual vehicles reliably.
Bucic Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Might be useful if you're beginning your adventure with ABRIS F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
Daniel M Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Might be useful if you're beginning your adventure with ABRIS x2 I used to only use mouse input to the abris, but started using the FSK keys on the keyboard, and it's much quicker now. My tip would be to learn to navigate abris via the keyboard.
