Novum
Ive done quite few practise runs against static targets with the S-25 rocket I get the feeling that they tend to go low Is it something that you Su-25 brothers / sisters also have seen? Or is it my skill?

Novum
Seems bang on to me - were you up in the mountains? Nate Not the montains, Well reason i post is that we are two guys feeling the same, ive never seen a s-25 to date go high i employ them in a shallow dive Im not ruling out my lack of skill here =)
Nate--IRL--
Use active pause a try it again maybe? - Mine are all spot on. Is this at really long ranges? Actually, If you can get this in a short track I'll take a look. Novum
Did some more testing OFFLINE. S-25 wants to go high (Rockets just fly high launched atleast 20 now) S-13 same here, goes high. S-24 behaves in a manner i think is ok S-8 like the S-24 useble Quite suprised when i tested OFFLINE that they went high instead of low... Shallow dive Laser rangefinder ON Launched all rockets when i got "LA" Edited May 29, 2012 by Novum

71st_Mastiff
yea I have to put the inner circle pipper way be low the target. I thought that was way off but adjusted for it any way, didn't check FC2. To see if different. Boomer
Might be a stupid question, but are you using LR - laser rangefinder (shift-o default AFAIK)? Wishlist: DCS: MiG29M/CMT | DCS: MiG25/31 | DCS: MiG-23MLD | DCS: F16CJ
Novum
If you are unsure just ask m8 Yes im using the range finder! Also you can se LR in the HUD of the TRK file (updateing my post)
Nate--IRL--
You neglected to mention you were using the laser guided version, I had been testing the S-25 - your track shows the S-25L hitting exactly what you designated for me in my build. Novum
umm, did i put S-25L on my jet? Im pretty sure i put S-25, ill check the mission.. still imho there arent any S-13L ;)
Novum
It seems to be a general confusion here... So to make it simple im gonna use swedish usage of missiles and rockets Robot (short Rb) is a guided missile / rocket Raket ("Rak" I think) is a unguided missile / rocket I have fitted my Su-25T with S-25Raket Shallow dive at target Using the onboard meassuring device to get an exat distance to target And the results? Well to actually hit in the tgt area (area around the pipper as shown in the trk file) i have to aim low, hence the S-25Raket goes high Pilot error? and again I am not using the S-25Robot im providing the mission i made after discovering this

Nate--IRL--
The track file i provided shows it... i was just make sure you understand what i did, and provided the mission for self studies.. Which track? I check out the First two tracks in the thread and they were using the Laser guided S-25L. It was not from the same mission you've just uploaded. If you wouldn't mind just do a quick track of the mission you've just uploaded - Everything works fine for me in it. Nate--IRL--
Everything seem in order in my build - a few times you fired outside the Max engagement range, but in general it seems ok to me. Nate--IRL--
I see same bug as Novum. In both tracks S25 and S13 goes higher then aimed and he fired within max engagement range Perhaps the engagement ranges have been adjusted between builds then? I don't know.
