badger66 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Probably have a Saitek X52 pro for sale next week . Ive just ordered my Thrustmaster Warthog :smartass: ..... so once that arrives I wont be needing the Saitek . Was happy with it , but as I now mainly do A-10C , the Warthog was the only real way to go . Its in good condition ..... but there might be an issue with the cable , if you move it too much it sends crazy imputs to the joystick . If you leave it alone as most do , its fine . All the button lights work , as do both MFD's . Anyway ..... can post in Europe , as I feel further would be too expensive for post . Has startup manual , disc and box .
cichlidfan Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 That cable can be replaced with a standard M-M PS-2 cable, like what is used on older KVM switches. I had to do that for mine right out of the box. MTFDarkEagle Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Would that be an expensive cable to buy ? Nope, very cheap cables. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
cichlidfan Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 The cable is as little as $3-4(US). The biggest PITA is that you will most likely only find them in longer lengths (mine is 6') since short cables on a KVM switch are not useful. EDIT: I threw away six 25' foot long ones a few years ago. Couldn't find a practical reason to keep them. cichlidfan Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 It took 3 months to get your Warthog delivered? ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP!
